Build up power in a broken-down city
Electrical Manager is a free game in which the player must restore electricity to a city during a blackout. Doing so involves completing a series of mini-games, and the more buildings you restore, the more mini-games you will unlock.
In terms of genre, the game is similar to city-building titles like City Island 5 - Tycoon Building Office Sim Game and Manor Lords. However, the gameplay is much simpler than these. This means that the game is more appropriate for small children.
Buy buildings, restore power
Electrical Manager begins with the city you control losing power. Your first step is to buy a building using your allotted sum of virtual cash. Then, you must restore power through a three-step process: drill a hole, install a telegraph pole, then attach wires. Each step is achieved through a basic mini-game (pull a lever, push a button, etc.).
Earn new tools to unlock new games
Fixing buildings will earn you virtual cash that you can use to buy more buildings. You will also earn new tools, each of which adds a new mini-game to the fixing process. For example, the calculator will add a number-entering game, while the scrubbing brush allows you to clean the telegraph wires.
Simple games
Electrical Manager was designed with children in mind, especially since the mini-games are simple. At the most basic, all you have to do is pull a lever. The unlockable mini-games are a little more complex. For example, the wire-cleaning game involves timing, and the bulb-wiring game is a pattern puzzle. However, these will still be very easy for older players.
Appropriate for children
While older users will likely lose patience with its simplicity, Electrical Manager is appropriate for children. Thanks to its engineering theme, it also has a degree of educational content.
